About the Role:
As an End User Devices Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization's technology landscape. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-user devices and their associated infrastructure. Your expertise will drive the adoption of innovative technologies that enhance productivity, security, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Device Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive end-user device strategy aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as cost, performance, security, and user experience.
- Infrastructure Design: Design and implement robust infrastructure to support end-user devices, including network, storage, and application delivery solutions.
- Device Management: Implement and manage device management platforms to ensure devices are configured, updated, and secured effectively.
- Security: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect end-user devices and data from threats.
- User Experience: Optimize device performance, usability, and support to enhance the overall user experience.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with device vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and end-users to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in end-user device management and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of device platforms (e.g., Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux).
- Advanced knowledge of network and security technologies.
- Experience with device management platforms (e.g., Intune, Jamf).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Apple Certifications).
- Experience with cloud-based device management solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
