SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
As the Global Head of Strategic Insights, your role will be pivotal in shaping our business strategy through comprehensive market analysis, forecasting, and data-driven insights. You will lead a team of experts to provide actionable recommendations that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Your efforts will directly contribute to our company's growth, innovation, and market leadership in the dynamic pharmaceutical industry.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Insights Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the Strategic Insights team, overseeing the development and execution of global market research, business intelligence initiatives, and market forecasting.
Market Analysis: Lead the identification of emerging market trends, opportunities, and challenges that influence our company's portfolio strategy, enabling us to adapt proactively to changing market dynamics.
Insights Generation: Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Commercial, and other departments to gather insights that inform product development, marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
Data-Driven Recommendations: Translate complex data into actionable recommendations, supporting executive decision-making through well-structured insights presentations and reports.
Forecasting: Develop and implement robust forecasting models and methodologies to anticipate market trends and product demand, aiding in resource allocation and strategic planning.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, regulatory bodies, and industry associations, to ensure a holistic view of the pharmaceutical landscape.
Team Management: Build, mentor, and guide a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Industry Expertise: Substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a track record of leading strategic insights, market research, or forecasting functions.
Global Perspective: Proven experience in providing strategic insights in a global context, demonstrating an understanding of diverse market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and cultural considerations.
Analytical Acumen: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data sets, distill key insights, and formulate strategic recommendations that drive business growth.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including leading teams, setting strategic direction, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Advanced Education: A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Business, Life Sciences, Market Research, or a related field is preferred.
