Ipsen is strengthening its R&D and Medical Digital & IT team to accelerate the development of digital solutions supporting scientific and medical activities.
We are looking for an R&D & Medical IT Engineer to design, build, and maintain IT solutions used by research and medical teams.
This is a highly hands-on role, where you will act as a “builder”, working directly on development, integrations, and automation to support scientific workflows and data-driven activities.
You will work in a fast-paced, agile, and DevOps-oriented environment, collaborating closely with business, quality, and external partners to deliver robust and compliant solutions.
Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain IT solutions supporting R&D and medical activities (e.g., LIMS, ELN, Veeva).
- Build and manage integrations, data pipelines, and automation processes.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation, deployment).
- Collaborate with business, quality (CSV), and external partners to deliver compliant solutions.
- Support system validation and ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards.
- Participate in agile delivery (sprint planning, backlog refinement, continuous improvement).
Your profile & expertise
- 3+ years of experience in IT engineering or software development roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in development, system integration, and automation.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
- Good knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
- Experience working with data pipelines and system integrations.
- Familiarity with scientific or R&D systems (LIMS, ELN, Veeva) is a plus.
- Understanding of regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and agile environments.
- Fluent in English.
Why join Ipsen?
- A highly hands-on role at the core of digital innovation in R&D and medical environments.
- Opportunity to work on modern technologies (cloud, DevOps, data, AI).
- A collaborative environment bridging IT, science, and business teams.
- Direct impact on how digital solutions support research and patient outcomes.
