SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
This role will support the planning, delivery and optimisation of global commercial KOL engagement and customer education activities within the brand portfolio. The position is ideal for a strong executor with experience in global or regional marketing who is looking to grow into broader strategic responsibilities over time.
Working closely with senior global leads, affiliates and cross-functional partners, the Manager/Sn Manager plays a hands-on role in executing global programmes, coordinating stakeholders, ensuring compliant delivery and supporting insight generation to inform future strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Customer Education & Training Programme Delivery
Support the planning, execution and continuous improvement of global customer education and training programmes across the brand portfolio
Coordinate logistics, timelines, materials and stakeholders for global training initiatives (F2F and digital)
Ensure programmes are delivered on time, on budget and in full compliance with internal SOPs and governance requirements
Contribute to the development and maintenance of training materials, tools and resources working with internal and external partners as required
Support impact tracking and KPI reporting for training initiatives, helping to assess reach, quality and outcomes
Global KOL engagement – Execution and support
Support the implementation of the global commercial KOL engagement strategy in line with defined brand and franchise priorities
Coordinate global KOL activities including commercial Advisory Boards, speaker programmes, congress engagement and educational initiatives
Maintain and support global KOL mapping profiling, segmentation tools and collaboration with global and local teams
Act as a key operational contact for affiliates, supporting alignment between global approach and local execution while respecting lobal ownership of relationships
Collect and synthesise KOL insights from activities and markets, feeing into global teams to inform ongoing optimisation
Global Congress & Event Support
Support the execution of the global congress strategy for the brand portfolio including preparation, coordination and follow up activities
Work cross-functionally with the marketing, medical, business ethics and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of Ipsen’s’ commercial presence and customer facing activities
Lead on post-congress reporting and insights consolidation
Cross-Functional & Affiliate Collaboration
Work closely with global medical, market access, legal, compliance and other functions to ensure aligned and compliant execution
Support affiliate teams with the roll-out of global initiatives, tools and programmes and acting as a point of contact for questions and guidance
Contribute to best practice sharing across markets and help identify opportunities for process of executional improvements
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Ensure all activities are delivered in full compliance with Ipsen policies, SOPs and applicable regulations
Support budget tracking for assigned activities and programmes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations processes related to KOL engagement and customer education
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
Solid experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry in marketing, training or customer engagement roles
Experience in HCP education, training programmes, congress activities at national, regional or global level
Strong marketing experience in one of the top 5 European markets (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy) or in North America (US, Canada),
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
Regional or global marketing experience
Knowledge / previous experience with Veeva PromoMats
Education / Certifications (essential):
Degree-level education, ideally in life sciences or in business studies
Language(s) (essential):
Fluency in spoken and written English
Language(s) (preferred):
Knowledge of additional languages such as French would be beneficial
